A hot air balloon ride is a magical experience suitable for those aged from 7 upwards. A hot air balloon ride is like no other form of aviation, drifting along at the same speed of the wind.

Our balloon rides drift over the countryside during the early morning and evening, between April and October. Although very few hot air balloon rides can take place in the winter, we do operate a standby list for enthusiastic flyers. Each and every champagne hot air balloon ride makes for an unforgettable, breathtaking aerial adventure; whatever occasion you may be celebrating.

The hot air balloon ride will last approximately one hour, with the whole experience taking three to four hours from start to finish. When you arrive at the launch site you will be welcomed by one of the ground crew who will check you in. The pilot and crew will then prepare the balloon and the pilot will make a safety briefing to all the passengers. After which the hot air balloon will then be inflated and ready to take-off.

After about one hour of the hot air balloon ride your experienced pilot will bring you gently back to mother earth, usually landing in a field or sports ground. At this point the ground crew will arrive. The hot air balloon will be packed away and the champagne and orange juice served allowing time for the experience to be shared with fellow passengers and family members. A commemorative certificate is presented and there is the opportunity to purchase an in-flight photograph. The ground crew will then take you back to your cars. Don't forget to bring a camera, also walking shoes are recommended as you may end up in a wet field, especially on an early morning champagne hot air balloon ride.

All of our balloon gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from date of issue and all hot air balloon rides are subject to favourable weather conditions.
